Ethics In Photography

In this article states that there are photography rules. Meaning, that there are some things you can't do when you edit a photo. If you don't comply with some of these rules you may be fined, or even incarcerated. Even adding or taking off simple objects within the picture can cause problems. This article gives examples of some famous photographers that had edited their photos in the wrong way and, gotten in some sort of trouble.
In my opinion I believe that editing photos is acceptable but, to the point where you add discriminating adjustment of a being, then it is wrong. I believe editing is acceptable because the photographer obviously wants the best photo to be shown. It is unethical when photographers add fake or unreal adjustments just to get viewed.

I believe this photo is most unethical because the editor added a personnel that wasn't actually. Bush and Saddam never debated together or ever been together.

In my opinion I believe this picture is the least unethical because the photographer edited the photo in a positive manner.

National Geographic: Warm Up

This photo is my favorite because it is unique to me. The fact that the photographer focused on the canyon inside of the viewers eye blows my mind. I think the quality of the picture is great too.
-If I were to submit a photo I would want to take a picture of skyscrapers with a sunset or sunrise.

Touching People

1. What do you think about this project and photo essay?
- In my opinion I think this project is very unique because it would be difficult to get two total strangers to somehow pose for a picture and touch another in some sort of fashion.

2. What would you do if someone approached you with a camera and asked you to participate in a photo shoot and then asked you to touch a stranger?
- I would be outgoing with his approach, and be willing to take this photo.

3. Think of an unusual photo shoot similar to this one that you think would be fun to go and shoot.
-An unusual photo shoot that I randomly thought of is taking pictures of people at vulnerable moments such as, sneezing. Capturing someone at the right moment is key and, can be quite funny.

4. Finally, tell me what you thought of the photography, are the photos good? Do you like looking at them?
- In my opinion I believe the photos are great. Without reading, I was able to guess what the project was about with just looking at a few pictures. It is somewhat interesting looking at these photos.

The reason this picture was listed "Top 40 Greatest Photos" was probably because it is rare to get a picture of the earth.

 Photographer: Unknown
What made me pick this photo was because I thought about the photographers prospective. The photographer himself had to risk his own life to take this photo, in which I admire. The characteristics that caught my eye was that the photographer went into a life changing event with the soldiers. I think this photo made it to the "40 Greatest Photos" because it citizens that stayed home wanted to see what was going on, on the other side of the world.

 Photographer: Goran Tomasevic
What made me pick this picture was the quality of the camera its self. It vividly illustrated the detail of the man's face. The options the photographer had to do in order to make the picture look good was the focus. He did a great job cropping and focusing on his face.
